A Time for Hope

Imagine pastoring a church just a short distance from Ground Zero in New York.  Imagine having to deal with the sorrow, horror and shock that followed the tragic events of September 11, 2001.  Imagine having to help put lives back together again, and trying to make sense of it all.  For Dave Epstein this was not something he had to imagine.  He lived it.  He is the pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church in New York.  In the aftermath of 9/11 Pastor Epstein delivered a series of messages to his congregation offering spiritual and emotional insight and help, and the love of God.  This book contains these messages.  Pastor Epstein brings the timeless message of the love and compassion of God into the context of the times in which we live.

Helping Christians Understand Islam

Depending on the evening news or our favorite blogs to give us a better
understanding of Islam will almost certainly be disappointing. The media presents
us with a severely limited view of either the extremes of Islamic terrorism
or the benign face of the Muslim common man. But we really must dig
deeper to get a clearer, fleshed-out view of Islam.

In his new book, George Ainsworth skillfully brings together a wealth of
information for us, providing the Church with an approachable and much
needed antidote to the incoherent picture of Islam in the news. If you are interested
in learning more about the cultural, religious, and political reality of Islam,
you will want to take the opportunity to read this engagingly written book.

The Common Word The Undermining of the Church

You frequently hear that Christians, Muslims, and Jews all worship the same god—that all three religions are basically the same. Some in Christian circles are promoting this idea. In the fall of 2007 a group of Muslim clerics and scholars decided to get on this bandwagon by issuing a document called A Common Word. It called for a dialogue between Christians and Muslims. Many Christians saw this as a friendly gesture. But was it? Or was something more sinister really being proposed? In The Common Word: The Undermining of the Church, this issue is examined in a thorough and scholarly manner. The authors are not only dedicated and knowledgeable Christians, but they are also well grounded in Islamic teaching. This is an important book that every Christian should read… before it is too late!

Certainty A Place To Stand

This book is a critique of the Emergent Church movement.  This movement began in the late 20th century and has moved across the world in the past decade.  The views of the Emergent Church are basically post-modern, stressing individualism, experience-based faith, and a lack of absolutes in matters of doctrine.  While there are a number of praiseworthy consequences that have arisen from this movement, there are still matters of great concern to Bible-believing Christians.  Of note among these is the tendency to either undervalue, or even reject, certainty about matters of Christian belief.  In this context that Dr. Richison writes this noteworthy critique of the Emergent Church.  This book should be read by all Christians concerned about where the church is headed today.

“No one thinks more clearly than Grant Richison about matters of Biblical authority, truth and certainty… I commend this book to you to stretch your thinking and find a firm anchor for your faith.”  Dr. Erwin W. Lutzer, Senior Pastor, The Moody Church

The Moslem Doctrine of God and The Moslem Christ

Samuel Zwemer was a true pioneer in the field of Muslim evangelism. Known in his lifetime as the Apostle to Islam he left a rich legacy regarding how the church should think about Islam and act towards Muslims. This recently published book contains in one volume two works by Zwemer originally printed in the early 20th century.

The first is The Moslem Doctrine of God. This work answers questions such as: What do Muslims really believe about God? Are the teachings of Islam consistent with biblical teaching about who God is? Do Christians worship the same God as Muslims? You will find the answers to such questions.

In the second work, The Moslem Christ, you will discover what Islam teaches about Jesus Christ. You may be shocked to find that some of the Bible greatest claims about Jesus are affirmed by the Koran. However, at the same time the Jesus of the Koran is truly \"another Jesus\" who bears little resemblance to the historical Nazarene who is both the Son of God and the Son of Man. This is because the focus of the Koran is not on Jesus, but on Muhammad himself. By reading this work you will not only understand the Islamic view of Christ, but you will also be better equipped to share your faith with Muslims.

The Mountains Shall Sing

For more than ten years, P.M. Thomas had a meaningful ministry, preaching revival and challenging young people for missions in Kerala, India. Then, with a God-given call to practice what he preached, P.M. boarded a train with his wife and seven-month-old son, and headed for Jammu and Kashmir. Setting up camp in a mud hut with no furniture, he began a ministry that grew into a legacy.

The Mountains Shall Sing tells the story of challenges that would have discouraged a lesser man. Hindu zealots opposed every move to construct the first church in the region. Two near-fatal heart attacks almost sidelined P.M. Misguided brethren from within tried to wrest the ministry from his control. At least a dozen key missionaries left to start their own ministries. Yet in the midst of this seeming defeat, there was provision where there seemed to be no means. Before the eyes of these resolute missionaries, God displayed His power by causing the blind to see, the lame to walk, and even the dead to be raised to life.

Modern Day Trojan Horse

Is the Islamic Doctrine of Immigration Accepting Freedom or Imposing Islam?

The first fundamental principle for the creation of a successfully visible Islamic society is to be separate and distinct. In Modern Day Trojan Horse, Sam Solomon and E Al Maqdisi give an excellent insider view of how immigration is a bona fide doctrine of Islam, not just a random immigration of people looking for jobs, opportunities, and a better life—and thus is being used, as set in motion by Muhammad, as a vital strategy of conquest. They explain how and why immigration is going under the radar, and how the demands of the growing Muslim communities are transforming our society. If this book does not serve as an eye-opener for even the most convinced cultural relativist, nothing will.
