Many of you have been praying for the Iranian Christians who have been imprisoned for months.  Most of these have  been released, but still face the threat of future trials and persecutions, as well as suffering the after effects of their persecution.  One prisoner who arrested last Christmas, Farshid, is still in prison.  Please keep him in prayer.  However, there are other believers who are in prisoner who had been arrested before the Christmas wave of persecution.  Also, remember to continually pray for the many others who are have suffered and are still suffering in the church in Iran.   Over 70 Believers Are Imprisoned In Iran During Christmas! To the left are the faces of faithful witnesses for Christ who are now imprisoned and suffering for nothing else than being Christians.  These are only a few of the dozens of people who are being persecuted in Iran today.  This is the story of what has happened to them in recent weeks.   In the early morning hours after Christmas day, the Iranian government arrested 25 Christians in Tehran and other locations. For every unreached people group in the world today, there are different obstacles and challenges to reaching them with the Gospel. Among these various challenges, there is one so great which even the most persevering missionary finds extremely difficult to overcome: the organized and systemic persecution of the church by the state and all levels of society.
