Pray for IRANIAN PRISONERS

Many of you have been praying for the Iranian Christians who have been imprisoned for months.  Most of these have  been released, but still face the threat of future trials and persecutions, as well as suffering the after effects of their persecution.  One prisoner who arrested last Christmas, Farshid, is still in prison.  Please keep him in prayer.  However, there are other believers who are in prisoner who had been arrested before the Christmas wave of persecution.  Also, remember to continually pray for the many others who are have suffered and are still suffering in the church in Iran. Elam Ministries, one of ANM's ministry partners, has produced a moving video...

Iranian Christians Arrested

Over 70 Believers Are Imprisoned In Iran During Christmas! To the left are the faces of faithful witnesses for Christ who are now imprisoned and suffering for nothing else than being Christians.  These are only a few of the dozens of people who are being persecuted in Iran today.  This is the story of what has happened to them in recent weeks.   In the early morning hours after Christmas day, the Iranian government arrested 25 Christians in Tehran and other locations. They also planned to detain sixteen others, but were unable to locate them. There are also unconfirmed reports that the authorities have arrested over 50 other Christians. According...

Beauty from Ashes

God's Kingdom shall prevail in spite of much opposition. This is certainly true in Orissa, India. Though 40 people became martyrs, 6,000 houses were destroyed, and 300 churches were burned to the ground, God's glory shines from these ashes. His love has been demonstrated by the believers who have come from far and wide to support their suffering brethren. The attempt to quelch the flame of God's love has spread the Gospel into new villages and towns. In the midst of the persecution and suffering, God's people rejoice. This trial has merged all denominations into one unified family. Their hearts flow with forgiveness toward their persecutors, and they have witnessed many of these persecutors...

Why a ministry to the persecuted church?

For every unreached people group in the world today, there are different obstacles and challenges to reaching them with the Gospel. Among these various challenges, there is one so great which even the most persevering missionary finds extremely difficult to overcome: the organized and systemic persecution of the church by the state and all levels of society. Christians in such places suffer on a variety of practical levels. Many are falsely charged, imprisoned, and/or martyred. Many lose their jobs or cannot find employment due to persecution and/or religious blacklisting. Families of those charged, imprisoned or martyred often lose their sole family breadwinner, resulting in a Christian...

How to help persecuted Christians

You can help address the needs of those suffering from Christian persecution in three practical ways: 1.
